What grades does Wellspring serve?

We serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with programs designed for each stage of development. We also offer a Homeschool Partnership Program and the Wellspring Renew Adult Diploma Program.

Is Wellspring accredited?

Yes. Wellspring Global Academy is fully accredited through Cognia (formerly AdvancED), one of the most respected accrediting bodies in K-12 education. Accreditation covers all grade levels, K through 12. Learn more on our Accreditation page.

Where is Wellspring located?

Wellspring is based in Texas and operates fully online. Students can enroll from anywhere in the United States.

What curriculum does Wellspring use?

Our curriculum is aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), the academic standards framework developed by the Texas Education Agency. TEKS alignment ensures rigor, sequence, and transferability across all core subjects.

Enrollment & Admissions

How do I enroll my student?

Start by connecting with our admissions team through the Enroll Now page. An admissions specialist will guide you through the application, transcript review, and placement process.

When can my student start?

Wellspring offers year-round enrollment. Students can begin at the start of a traditional semester or at any point during the school year, depending on their situation.

Is there an application fee?

Please visit our Tuition and Financial Aid page for current fee information, or contact the admissions team directly.

Do you accept transfer students?

Yes. We accept transfer students at all grade levels. Your Educational Concierge will conduct a full transcript review and work with your family to ensure a smooth transition, including credit evaluation and course placement.

Academics

Are your teachers certified?

Yes. Every Wellspring teacher holds subject-area certification. Many are multi-certified and bring significant experience in curriculum development and virtual instruction.

Does Wellspring offer AP or Dual Enrollment courses?

Yes. We offer a range of College Board-approved AP courses and dual enrollment opportunities through accredited partner institutions. Visit our AP and Dual Enrollment page for the full list and details.

How does Project-Based Learning work at Wellspring?

Project-Based Learning is woven throughout our curriculum at every grade level. Students investigate real questions, create original work, and present their thinking, connecting academic content to real-world challenges.

Is credit recovery available?

Yes. Our Academic Mastery Program (credit recovery) allows students to recover credits at their own pace in a supported environment. Visit our Credit Recovery page for details.

Will my student's credits transfer to other schools?

Cognia accreditation strengthens credit recognition, though receiving institutions make their own transfer decisions. Our Educational Concierge team provides complete transcripts and supporting documentation to make the process as smooth as possible.

Student Life & Support

What is an Educational Concierge?

Every Wellspring family is paired with a dedicated Educational Concierge who serves as your personal guide from enrollment through graduation. They assist with course selection, scheduling, academic planning, college preparation, and day-to-day support. Learn more on our Educational Concierge page.

How much parent involvement is needed?

It depends on grade level. For K-2, families typically spend 3-4 hours per day actively supporting their child. For grades 3-5, that decreases to 1-2 hours. By middle and high school, students become increasingly independent with concierge oversight keeping everything on track.

Does Wellspring work for student-athletes?

Yes. Our flexible scheduling accommodates training and competition schedules without sacrificing academic quality. For NCAA aspirations, Cognia accreditation is an important factor, but the NCAA evaluates students individually. We encourage athletes to connect with their Educational Concierge early to build a compliant course plan.

Are there social opportunities for students?

Yes. Students connect through live sessions, collaborative projects, virtual lunch bunches, student clubs, and virtual events. Wellspring is a genuine community, not just a course platform.

Tuition & Financial Aid

How much does Wellspring cost?

Tuition varies by program and enrollment type. Visit our Tuition and Financial Aid page for current rates, or speak with an admissions specialist about payment plans and multi-student discounts.

Does Wellspring accept ESA funding?

Yes. Wellspring is an approved ESA provider in Arizona, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Hampshire, Texas, West Virginia, and continues to expand. Visit our ESA page for state-specific details and documentation guidance.

Is financial aid available?

Yes. We encourage families to explore available options through our Financial Aid page. Our admissions team can discuss what options may apply to your situation.
